Actress and music composer Mandy Moore has decided it’s time to get rid of her house in Pasadena, California, which she bought in 2017 while counting down the days to marry musician Taylor Goldsmith.

Moore and Goldsmith paid $2.6 million for the house, but now expect to receive $6 million. Many will surely wonder why the big increase in the price of the residence, since it has only been seven years, and the truth is that the couple decided to invest a lot of money in renovating the place.

The couple was looking for the perfect place in Los Angeles to share, and they saw that this house built in the 1950s had part of what they needed. However, there were details they wanted to change to make it the true house of their dreams.

For the renovation project, she decided to hire expert designers, and the final result was so perfect that it was reviewed in 2018 by the specialist magazine ‘Architectural Digest’. At that time, the actress told the magazine that her intention was to recover the original design made by architect Harold B. Zook.

This house is so special to Moore and her family that she herself took it upon herself to announce on social media that the residence is for sale. “It is the end of an era. Today, our home, which we lovingly restored from the ground up, is available for its next chapter and new owner,” the actress wrote on Instagram.

The main house has an area of 3,550 square feet spread over one floor with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.

The main attractions of this house are undoubtedly inside. One of the main features is the large fireplace in the main room, which is covered in stone and adorned with a large copper hood. This matches the large floor-to-ceiling windows, terrazzo floors and more.

The kitchen, on the other hand, stands out for its marble countertops and high-end appliances, while the master bedroom has its own living room, dressing room and spa-like bathroom.

Outside there are green areas with a terrace, a fire pit, a swimming pool, a spa area and other spaces ideal for enjoying the outdoors with family or friends. From each of these spaces you have an impressive view of the area.
