According to La Vanguardia, the young woman caused the guitarist to receive an instant electric shock when he came into contact with a nearby cable. The police are investigating the incident, but have not revealed precise details of the circumstances of the accident.

“What we know is that his show was scheduled for a specific time and it was brought forward, but we are contacting the people who were with him at the time to understand how everything happened. We will compile all the information in a statement that we will publish to the press,” Rita Matos, Sasaki’s aunt, told local media.
