A few days ago, David Banda, the eldest son of pop star Madonna, alarmed everyone by saying that some nights he had no choice but to look for food in the trash.

Her statement on Instagram Live generated all kinds of comments and concerns, but this Sunday she decided to calm her followers with a post on Instagram stories.

She wrote: “My mother supports me a lot. She has always supported me. I am very happy in my life and I am not living on the streets dying of hunger.”

It should be noted that when the 18-year-old shared the previous live, he did not look in bad shape or worried, which seemed to indicate that his current lifestyle is a decision that he is happy with. Although what is most shocking is that Banda lived for many years among all the luxuries and comforts that Madonna has in her mansions.

What alerted everyone in her Instagram live was the following statement: “It’s beautiful to live the experience of being nine o’clock at night, being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to buy food and look through the trash. It’s fun to be young.”

At the same time he said that he is currently living with his girlfriend, a model named María Atuesta who is a couple of years older than him.

It should be noted that David Banda is quite active on social media, so if he were in a precarious situation it could be seen through his posts.

What is clear from his Instagram account is that he is focused on the music classes he gives to children and his work at the Jacaranda Foundation.
