Amazon Prime has finally released ‘Betty, la fea: la historia continua’, a continuation of the famous Colombian soap opera ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’, created by the late Fernando Gaitán.

The return of this story has generated many comments, but the truth is that what has been most exciting is seeing several of its protagonists again, including Ana María Orozco (Beatriz Pinzón Solano), Jorge Enrique Abello (Armando Mendoza) and the iconic blue house that in fiction belongs to Betty’s parents.

The first two of the 10 episodes of this season have been available since last week. From the previews presented months before, it can be seen that the aesthetics of the story have changed, and that the image quality has evolved as technology has done in the last 20 years.

This new part of the story begins with the death of Roberto Mendoza, Armando Mendoza’s father. After this sad event, Betty has to reconnect with Armando and her entire past, from whom she distanced herself five years ago.

After her separation from Armando, Betty returned to the house where she grew up. Yes, the famous blue house that is located in a shack in a neighborhood of Bogotá, Colombia. The impact of ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’ has been such that over the last 20 years this house has become a kind of museum and tourist attraction in the capital.

Taking advantage of the premiere of this new season, a real estate company called Ciencuadras visited the residence and toured the place. They even calculated what its current price would be.

This property is specifically located at Carrera 18A #43A – 59, in the La Soledad neighborhood and its construction dates back to the late 19th century, long before ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’ was created.

According to Ciencuadras, the current value of this residence is $594 million Colombian pesos, equivalent to almost $150,000 dollars.

It should be noted that fans of the novel can visit the house from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
