Daniel Bisogno is waiting for a liver donor

Daniel Bisogno has been able to resume his life and career after the health crisis he experienced a few months ago. However, a few weeks ago he mentioned that he needs to undergo a final medical treatment in order to fully recover. Therefore, he offered details and explained that he must wait for someone to donate a liver to him.

“We are in this protocol of a list, suddenly they tell me: ‘Let’s see if someone donates to you’. That is not possible, it has to be a donor who unfortunately has to die, because the liver is not like a kidney, where they can put one in you,” she said on ‘Ventaneando’.

The TV host said that he is not feeling well and that keeps him calm because of the waiting list he is on: “We are waiting calmly, without any rush, because I am fine, so it is something that needs to be done, but there is no major rush, or a matter of life or death, up to now.”

“I really want to do several plays that I have in mind and on the way with my dear Alejandro Gou, I would like to do a game show, and see my daughter grow up, of course,” she said in front of the media who asked her about her health and what she wants to do.

It is admirable that Daniel has opened up about his journey to the liver transplant he needs, as this can help raise awareness about the importance of organ donation. As such, he hopes to continue his path to full recovery. His strength and resilience can serve as an inspiration to many people facing similar situations.

“When (the doctors) realize that the liver was worse, they go in with the gallbladder, take a biopsy of the liver and realize. What the doctors need to do, there were many options, but the only one that is truly palliative and curative is to transplant. I already entered a committee, where they decide who and everything, you can’t imagine the number of tests they did on me to be a candidate for a liver transplant,” he said in front of the cameras of ‘Ventaneando’.

“I’m on the waiting list and there’s only one girl ahead of me on that list. I’m second on the hospital list,” she added.
