Geraldine Bazán and Gabriel Soto have shown a strong commitment to the well-being of their family, especially in times of controversy. Recently, the actress made the decision to take legal action against journalist Maxine Woodside due to comments she made on her radio show, “Todo para la Mujer,” which were perceived as unfortunate by the Mexican.
The actor has expressed his unconditional support in this situation, stressing that although he appreciates Woodside, he does not agree with what has been said about his family. This support highlights the importance that both attach to protection and family unity in the face of adversity.
“I love Maxine very much, but I think that on this occasion there is a very fine line between freedom of expression and insults, and especially when it comes to messing with our daughters. There she was a bit rude about the subject of girls, especially with Elissa (her eldest daughter). So I fully support what Geraldine did,” said the actor during a meeting with the media.
The 49-year-old Mexican actor did not hesitate to say that Geraldine did the right thing, after Maxine Woodside revealed details of their alleged intimacy when the actress became pregnant with her first daughter: “It is a demand that she made; I don’t know if I should join in as such, but I support her, one hundred percent.”
Geraldine Bazán and her statement regarding the complaint
Maxine has been in the media spotlight due to her statements about Geraldine’s intimate life. As mentioned, Woodside revealed details about the place where Bazán’s pregnancy with Gabriel Soto allegedly occurred, which sparked rumors.
This situation led the actress to take legal action, filing a lawsuit for the dissemination of information she considers private and sensitive. These events reflect the complexity of relationships in the world of entertainment and the impact that public statements can have on the lives of the people involved.
“As many of you know, my personal life has been the subject of opinions, on certain radio programs, that incite gender violence and that violate my dignity. This decision is primarily for my daughters, who are minors and who are being affected,” the statement said.
