The closing of Karol G’s successful tour, “Mañana Será Bonito Tour 2024”, in the city of Madrid, Spain, was overshadowed after the revelation of the death of a man who attended the Colombian’s concert.
According to local authorities, a 42-year-old man was involved in a fight at the intersection of Padre Damián Street and Alberto Alcocer Avenue, four blocks away from the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, where the “Bichota” ended her tour on July 23.
According to the information, the events occurred around 1:00 am (local time) when the victim was making a video call with his girlfriend after the concert ended.
Two women who were near the Spanish citizen thought that he was recording them without their consent, so they reacted by complaining. Because of what the women did, a man decided to intervene, hitting the first subject.
A confusion causes death
The 33-year-old man’s attack caused the first subject to fall to the ground, causing his head to hit the ground. After the call for help from the people who were at the scene, paramedics diagnosed that the man had a severe head injury, so he was intubated and transferred, in critical condition, to the Hospital of La Paz.
However, despite the medical attention provided, the 44-year-old man lost his life on the morning of July 24 in the city of Madrid.
Following the revelation of the death of the Karol G fan, the individual’s partner revealed to local authorities that her boyfriend was not recording the women, but was only showing her the way in which the people dressed for the Colombian concert.
The attacker, who was arrested by the Madrid Municipal Police, is being investigated by the Sixth Group of Homicides of the Police Headquarters on charges of murder. If found guilty, the man could face a sentence of up to 4 years in prison.
Karol G could have recorded everything and then sold a movie, but she decided to share it for free for all the people who didn’t have the opportunity to attend the tour.

So far, and after the end of her tour, Karol G has not made any statements regarding this unfortunate event. Regarding her next plans, the South American singer will perform during the “Rock in Rio” festival in September in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Likewise, and thanks to her recent statements, the artist would release, in 2025, her new album, which would be in the final part.
