Mexican actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez posted a long message on her Instagram account to clarify several points following her breakup with Cuban actor William Levy.
In the post, she tried to put an end to the speculation that has been circulating about her breakup with the soap opera heartthrob.
“I have spent months reflecting on many things. I know that I have unintentionally hurt the people I love the most, my children and the father of my children deserve that I clarify certain things that were said at the time and were distorted without the intention of repeating the same thing, I need to clarify it to have a clear conscience.”
In the message, the artist added: “No one knows better than me what I have lived, what I have felt, what I have been through and yes, despite our problems, he is the man I will always love and wish the best for.”
He considered that if many consider it a defect that he loves William Levy, it is something he feels good about, because it seems to him that it is better than hating him.
“It cannot be that people who do not know the story inside dare to say that I was ‘imprisoned’. I was in a place that I chose and where the man who was with me took care of me, protected me and gave me the best of himself. Sometimes more than he did himself,” she said.
Elizabeth Gutierrez said her children have a good relationship with their father and denied that he hit anyone in her family or her.
“William is a healthy man in all aspects of his life. He is a sportsman and that has always been his lifestyle along with his dedication to work. He is a hard-working man, who strives to get ahead and give the best to his family,” he added.
In addition to this, he commented: “Our life as a couple is the result of two young people who grew in their love in the midst of a career that we did not know how to separate from the name that grew with us professionally and in the media, and today we continue learning, maturing and paying the consequences of fame, despite ourselves, with something that should be separated for our peace and stability.”
Finally, she said that she will always be grateful for him and due to his words, many believe that they have returned to their relationship. However, it is not something that has been confirmed by either of them, at least for now, what is certain is that they will continue to work together for the well-being of their children.
