Maripily launches “Macumba” and 'eats Lupillo's errand'

Lupillo Rivera confirmed in a live broadcast and in an interview with “El Molusco” that the song “Macumba” was already in production. Later on “La Mesa Caliente” he didn’t want to even touch on the subject, however, the fans of “Huracán Boricua” knew that this was apparently something that was coming. However, the winner of “La Casa de los Famosos 4” did not sit back and do nothing when she heard all this.

Maripily decided to bring to life an old saying that says “he who hits first, hits twice.” And she was so ahead of the “Toro del Corrido” that “Macumba” is already on digital platforms and is a song that even plays in her play “La Casa de Maripily ¡Se Vale Tó!”.

The song itself is short, lasting less than two minutes. In this song, the renowned actress and businesswoman takes a strong jab at La Melaza, one of the inhabitants who used this word the most to name her.
