Vinícius Jr. has been one of the footballers who has suffered the most episodes of racism in recent seasons. Now, a new act has just taken place. A video of an Argentine child who was the protagonist of a racist act against the player has gone viral on social media.

This is about a little Argentinian boy who, at the time of recording the video, was wearing an Argentina national team shirt. From what appears to be the garden of his house, a few metres away he sees a monkey and begins to call it by the name of Vinícius while gesturing and imitating the animal.

“You’re going to get electrocuted, Vinícius. Vinícius, don’t get electrocuted,” he says as the animal walks over some electricity cables. The episode has not gone unnoticed and has become one of the most viral events on social media.

This video of this child is very sad… the worst of all is that surely the one who recorded it and uploaded it to social media was his own father/mother “proud” of what he was doing. 😪

Internet users have generated a flood of comments rejecting the comments of this little boy whose identity has not been revealed. “This is unusual”; “It’s terrible”; “They are very heavy with the racist insults to Vinícius”; “Argentines don’t have brains”, are some of the comments on X.

This is not the first time that a child has made this type of comment towards Vini Jr. Last season in that legendary match at Mestalla against Valencia, something similar happened.

A child, sitting on his mother’s lap, repeatedly shouted “monkey” at the Real Madrid footballer. On this occasion, the mother received great media attention for her passive reaction to the crime committed by her little son.

Real Madrid and Vinícius Jr. are building a historic precedent. They recently obtained the first criminal sentence against fans who shouted racist insults at the Mestalla Stadium during a match against Valencia.
