Since he arrived at Chivas de Guadalajara, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has not stopped receiving criticism. The latest was before the start of the Leagues Cup. The Mexican striker used irony in response to questions from a fan.
The player made a live broadcast on Instagram before travelling to Santa Clara, California, in the United States. The fan reminded him of his time at Real Madrid and accused him of being a player who breaks dressing rooms.
This caused the Mexican striker to explode and launch an ironic response, but full of annoyance at the criticism he was receiving live. “I only play soccer for that, to break dressing rooms, to make a fuss, to screw people over and not score goals,” he began.
“No, that’s not true, it doesn’t matter why I played in nothing but crappy games (top scorer for the national team). I was taken to Madrid for political reasons, in Manchester they are fools,” he concluded with total sarcasm.
Chicharito Hernández was unable to play in the Leagues Cup debut, which was defeated by San José Earthquakes due to physical problems. This was confirmed by Argentine Fernando Gago.
“Chicharito had a muscle load, and we didn’t want to risk him for this match, so we try to get him in the best possible shape for the next one,” he said at a press conference.

He signed for a season in September 2014, where he had few opportunities to be a starter in the Madrid squad. During his time in Madrid, Javier Hernández scored nine goals in 33 games.
The Mexican striker played alongside figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, James Rodríguez and Gareth Bale at Real Madrid. He won the Club World Cup in 2014.
