A mansion in Malibu, California, that belonged to musician Tom Petty from 1998 until his death in 2017 is available on the real estate market. It should be remembered that Petty’s death was confirmed by his daughters, who have also been responsible for selling his properties.

This is not the first residence Petty has entered the real estate market, as a couple of years ago it was reported that the mansion -also in Malibu- that inspired the musician and singer to compose the song ‘Something Good Coming’ was available.

Returning to the house that belonged to Petty for more than 20 years, it must be said that it is available for $19 million dollars and the agent in charge of its sale is Pamela Van Ierland. She herself has been in charge of sharing details of the residence on her Instagram account.

This property was built in the 1940s and sits on a 2-acre lot. Although the property was built several decades ago, it is currently in good condition thanks to the renovations and maintenance that have been done in recent years.

According to specialized media, this residence is not located very close to the beach, but instead offers a large area that brings together multiple comforts and luxuries.

The main house spans nearly 9,000 square feet and includes four bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.

Inside, we must mention its dark wood floors, high ceilings, exposed wooden beams, large windows, skylights and more.

In addition to the main house, there are two guest houses, and one of them is known to have been converted into a recording studio, which is not surprising considering that the place belonged to Petty for 20 years.

Outside there are green areas with a terrace, several fountains, a swimming pool, a dining room and enough space to enjoy the outdoors with family or friends.
