In a touching and humane gesture, Nick Carter, the famous singer of the Backstreet Boys, fulfilled the dream of a fan who is battling a terminal illness, during the concert of his world tour ‘Who I Am’, in Frankfurt, Germany. The young woman, identified as Jenni Schmidt, attended the show on a stretcher and was able to share a special moment with her idol.

Jenni, who has been battling a serious illness for some time, received an unexpected surprise when Nick Carter decided to come down from the stage and make his way through the crowd to take her hand and sing the iconic Backstreet Boys hit, “I Want It That Way,” just for her.

The video shows the fan, who, visibly moved, sang along with him as the crowd joined in, creating a magical and special atmosphere.

“The moment Nick stood next to me and sang this wonderful song was such a touching moment. I never thought this moment would come,” Jenni shared with TMZ.
