The alleged romance between Shakira and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has been rekindled after it was revealed that the singer was inspired by the British singer to compose one of the songs on her most recent album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.”
According to fans of the Colombian singer, she wrote the song “Nassau” as a dedication to Hamilton, with whom she was romantically linked in previous months after her breakup with former Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué.
And for some time now, the famous couple has been captured in various casual moments, such as meetings with friends and even during a Formula 1 event. Because of the above, and although this possible relationship has not been made official yet, fans of the “Waka Waka” singer are not taking their finger off the line about a possible relationship with the Englishman.
Why do they say Shakira dedicated “Nassau” to Hamilton?
As mentioned so far, the reason why Shakira would have dedicated “Nassau” to Hamilton is based on two main reasons.
The first of these would have to do with the same word, which refers to the capital of the Bahamas, the place where the Latin singer and the European pilot were seen for the first time several months ago.
Regarding the second clue, it has been mentioned that the tattoo Hamilton has on her right arm, with the word “Nassau,” would be another indication of the supposed inspiration on the part of the interpreter of “January Day.”
However, despite the dissemination of an image in which the pilot is seen with the word tattooed, it was mentioned that this could have been digitally altered to force the alleged relationship between the celebrities.
Although so far none of those involved have mentioned or revealed any information in this regard, various media outlets have denied this claim. Such is the case of Spanish journalist Jordi Martin, who mentioned in previous months that between Shakira and Lewis there is only “a beautiful and sincere friendship.”
Following her split from the sports entrepreneur in 2022, Shakira has been romantically linked to various personalities from the world of entertainment and sports. In addition to Hamilton, the singer sparked a great deal of speculation after being spotted with actor Tom Cruise on a couple of occasions.
Similarly, and more recently, the Colombian was linked to actor Lucien Lasviscount, with whom she recorded the video “Puntería” months ago. Although no official announcement has been made so far, sources close to the couple have indicated that the couple wants to maintain a casual, no-strings-attached relationship.
