Evaluna’s accident while pregnant

Last May, Camilo shared the scare he experienced after an incident involving his daughter Índigo and his wife, Evaluna Montaner, who at the time was six months pregnant. During an interview for the podcast ’40 copas con Roberto Cardona’, he revealed details about this disturbing moment.

The singer described how they were in his creative workshop during his visit to Colombia. They had hung some hammocks to rest between work and meetings. However, the anguish came when, in the middle of the workshop, a sudden crash was heard. That’s when Camilo realized that his wife and daughter were not where they should be.

“My wife loves to get in the hammock, especially to put Indigo to sleep. There was one that was a little higher; I was in a meeting, when suddenly the workshop, which is made of absolute concrete, made a knocking sound,” he said.

The Colombian immediately ran to help them, especially concerned about Evaluna’s condition due to her advanced pregnancy.

“I saw it all dark and I said, ‘These are the moments that are like, ‘God bless you, they can be deadly.’ And I saw my wife and she was crying, but in silence, like scared,” he added.

Camilo also shared his feeling of guilt after the incident, since he had had the idea of hanging the hammocks.

“My fear was: ‘You don’t want your wife who is six months pregnant to fall out of a hammock.’ So, of course, my world came crashing down and I said: ‘I was the one who put those knots there.’ Besides, I was confident that those knots were fine,” he admitted.

Fortunately, it was just a scare. Camilo assured that Evaluna, Indigo and Amaranto were fine.

“We went to bed for a moment afraid to say, ‘What about Amaranto? In the end, everything was perfect. Amaranto kicked perfectly, everything was great,’” he concluded.
