Andrea Legarreta has been in the spotlight since her split from Erik Rubín, but she has made it clear that her priority remains the family they have formed together. In contrast to her colleagues Galilea Montijo and Tania Rincón, who have already found new partners after their respective breakups. Now, the actress is currently focused on her well-being and that of her daughters.
Andrea and Erik were together for 23 years, and the fruit of their love that once existed was the birth of two daughters. For this reason, a reporter asked her if she is ready to see him living his love life or if it would cause her any sadness.
“Probably, yes (I would feel pain). More than pain, maybe this concern that the person you love so much is with someone valuable, someone who values him, treats him well, that both of them respect each other and are happy, but that is no longer my business. We both deserve that if at some point we have a new story with someone, we wish the best for each other. I think that is the healthiest thing,” she said in front of the ‘Imagen Televisión’ camera.
Is Andrea Legarreta ready for a new love?
Although she received questions about the possibility of a new romance, the host assured that she is not ready to venture into love again. Her bond with Rubín, beyond the romantic, is based on love and responsibility towards their daughters, which seems to be the basis of their current relationship, characterized by harmony and mutual respect.
“I’m not ready to try again. The truth is that I’ve also had a streak of hard times, where what I want is to be taking advantage of my daughters, my father, my family, my work, my friends; I go out with them more (…) I’m not ready, I don’t know what life will bring me, I’m not closed either, but it’s not something I need right now,” she added during the interview.
Andrea took the opportunity to highlight the relationship she has with Rubín: “We are family and we will always be family. There is an important love… I think that also, when you have lived through so many things and there is a history of so many difficult moments, others very beautiful, the truth is that you are left with a family bond forever.”
