American comedian Louis CK has decided it’s time to get rid of the house on Shelter Island, New York, which he has owned for 10 years. The property is currently available on the real estate market for $9.2 million.

Louis CK is hoping to make a significant profit on the sale of this property, as he purchased the place in 2014 for just $2.4 million. This property enters the real estate market a year and a half after he managed to sell his house in West Village, New York for $6.5 million.

The property for sale dates back to 1901 and occupies a two-hectare plot. The agents in charge of its sale assure that the residence is in perfect condition thanks to the maintenance and renovations that have been carried out on the place in recent decades.

Linda McCarthy is the real estate agent in charge of selling this home and to promote it she describes it as a “lovingly restored historic Tudor home, a masterpiece built in 1901. Impeccable craftsmanship defines this residence.”

The main house is spread over several floors with six bedrooms, four full bathrooms, one half bathroom, foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.

The listing agent says, “The home features 6 meticulously restored fireplaces, each enhanced with heaters for efficient warmth.” Also worth mentioning are the hardwood floors, large windows, arched doorways, main staircase with wood railings, and more.

The kitchen is a mix of rural and modern style. It has brick walls, marble countertops and is equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances.

The new owners will also be able to enjoy green areas with a couple of terraces, a swimming pool, a spa area, a dining room and other spaces ideal for enjoying the outdoors. It also includes a private dock, undoubtedly a perfect space to spend free days.
