American actress Amanda Bynes, known for her work in various youth films and series from the early 2000s, caused a great impact among her followers and non-followers after showing her current appearance on social media.
Through her official Instagram account, the interpreter of “The Amanda Show” has shared a series of recent photographs, which have caused great surprise due to the notable physical change she has undergone in recent years after having been admitted to a psychiatric hospital in 2023.
In the photos, the actress shows obvious surgical interventions on her lips, cheekbones, eyes, among others, as well as various modifications to her eyebrows and hair, in addition to excessive makeup.
What happened to Amanda Bynes?
In the same images, which date back a few weeks, the actress herself mentioned that she had had a lip filler solvent applied because her lips “got too full.”
For the above, and within the same message, Bynes said: “now my lips have returned to a nice size.”
However, despite the recent publication, dozens of users could not help but express their surprise at the current appearance of the actress, who announced her retirement from the stage in 2010.
According to a large group of Internet users, Amanda’s appearance is due to her unstable mental health, her problems with the law and her history of addictions.
All of the above caused the artist to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital in April 2023. After this stage, the actress continued to receive outpatient care for a possible relapse.
Since her retirement from acting, the artist herself has revealed, through various interviews, her problems with drugs as well as other mental health issues. This also caused her to distance herself from her family, with whom, according to sources from the NBC network, she has not had contact for quite some time.
Prior to this, the American achieved great recognition in the Hollywood industry thanks to her roles in films and shows such as “All That”, “What I Like About You”, “Big Fat Liar”, “Lovewrecked”, “Hairspray”, among others.
For all the above, and according to specialized sources, the actress maintains a fortune of around $6 million dollars. Regarding this issue, the actress’s trust was managed by her father Rick Bynes and her mother Lynn. However, and in view of Amanda’s release from the psychiatric hospital in 2023, both parents decided to support the American’s request to recover her assets.
