In recent weeks, false information has been spread about singer Britney Spears. It was said that the mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, which the pop star has owned since 2015, had gone on the real estate market.
Several real estate media outlets reported that the property had gone on the market, but now ‘TMZ’ and the singer’s team have claimed that this information was spread due to a cyber attack.
The property was reportedly available for just under $9 million, and it should be remembered that Spears paid $7.4 million for the place over 10 years ago. This residence is also significant because it was here that the singer and Sam Asghari got married a couple of years ago.
According to TMZ, Spears’ team contacted the alleged real estate agents in charge of selling the house, although they were not informed of the situation. The post has since been deleted.
Although it is not known exactly what the intention behind the fake post was, it is certain that the pop star had considered getting rid of the residence at some point.
Spears’ property includes a main house that spans 13,264 square feet with five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, one half bathroom, foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
Clearly, the residence also includes multiple luxuries such as a library, games room, movie theater, wine cellar with capacity for 3,800 bottles and an elevator.
Outside there are extensive green areas with a terrace, barbecue area, swimming pool, spa area, tennis court and other spaces ideal for enjoying the outdoors.
