TV presenter Carlos Calderón returned to the show ‘Hoy Día’ on Monday, after Colombian Daniel Arenas was no longer on the show.
On the Telemundo morning show, the host shared in several segments information from the world of entertainment and some of the network’s shows such as ‘La Isla: Desafío Extremo’, which will have its first elimination on August 5.
Carlos Calderón was absent due to a cold, as he commented a few days ago on his Instagram account for a post to say goodbye to Daniel Arenas.
“Today, while I am recovering at home from a cold, I found out that my dear Daniel Arenas chose this day to say goodbye to ‘Hoy Día,’” he wrote.
He also said that he regretted not being able to be there to thank him on screen for everything he had given him: “What has hurt me the most is not being able to give you a big hug, my friend. You are one of those colleagues with whom one dreams of working: a gentleman, a professional and a good friend. In addition, you had the great detail of giving me a farewell gift with words that I thank and appreciate very much. The pleasure has been mine, because being by your side when you talk about your faith, your principles, and seeing how you clearly distinguish the good from the bad, facing those who defend the indefensible, is something that is increasingly difficult to find.”

In this regard, he added: “You have put my own ideas and my sense of humor to the test, in which you were always complicit with a laugh.”
In the post, Carlos Calderón also said: “Thank you for welcoming me the way you did, for supporting my business on air, for going to Vanessa’s play, for always asking about León, for your honesty and for being a great partner. We celebrated together triumphs that never existed before and that many thought were unattainable! It was an honor to have been on that same team with you, we will continue building.”
There has been a lot of talk about the Mexican being able to officially take part in the program, which has undergone several changes over time, but the truth is that with his career he has added a lot to the show, since he comes from similar formats such as ‘Despierta América’, from the Univision network, Telemundo’s competition.
