TV presenter Lili Estefan continues to criticise Fernando Carrillo for portraying himself as an ally of Nicolás Maduro to spread his political messages about the situation in Venezuela.

On the show ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’, the Cuban-American woman was outraged on Monday by the response given to her by the actor, who invited her to his country to see its beauty and thus realize, supposedly, that there is no crisis.

Upon being invited, the famous woman did not hesitate to respond and said: “I will go to Venezuela one day, but when Venezuela is free, what is it that you don’t understand, Fernando Carrillo?”

She explained that she stopped following him on social media because she had him on her accounts for his career as an actor, but now that he has dedicated his life to political activism, she feels that he has no business there.

“He is using all those followers to influence others. No one influences me. I cannot follow a person who went from being an actor to a political activist for a regime that we all know is wrong and unacceptable. In the end, what I think is that he was hurt that I stopped following him,” she said.

He reiterated that when there is democracy he will set foot on Venezuelan soil, but for now it will not be possible.

Lili Estefan said that what bothers her most is that Fernando Carrillo is playing with the pain of a people who have faced many difficulties in recent years.

“He knows that the elections were a fraud,” commented the skinny girl on Hispanic television in the United States.

Finally, he asked the artist a firm question: “Are they paying you for this? Because it is not normal, Fernando Carrillo, are they paying you for this?”

She also told him that she is not involved in politics, but that she does support people who are disappointed in the South American country and want change. “I am going to go to Venezuela when it is free, to Los Roques, which they tell me is beautiful,” she concluded.
