The murder of Martha Paola Salcedo seems to have opened a real Pandora’s box. The Mexican Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that there is an arrest warrant since 2023 against the mother of soccer player Carlos Salcedo for alleged homicide.
The Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that María Isabel Hernández Navarro, mother of Carlos Salcedo, has an arrest warrant for an alleged homicide that occurred in March 2023.
This was revealed by the Jalisco prosecutor, Luis Joaquín Méndez. “The arrest warrant is in force. The necessary procedures are being carried out, which, by obligation, must be carried out by the Public Prosecutor’s Office that has the file, in coordination with the places where it could eventually be located,” he explained.
“The agent of the ministry considered that there are elements to request that he be brought before the judge; it would be that the ministry impute to him the data that apparently exists against him and that the judge then resolve in due time,” he added.
In this regard, the official said that they are working on locating the player’s mother. “It is part of what the Public Prosecutor’s Office is working on, and now with the information that appears in the media and on social media, it is also part of what the Public Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing.”
What is known is that María Isabel Hernández is being linked to the death of a person named José Félix due to an alleged inheritance issue.
After learning this news, Carlos Salcedo’s mother accused him of using influence to harm her. She did so through a video posted on social media.
It should be remembered that Hernández accused the footballer of being involved in the murder of his own sister Martha Paola Salcedo.
On July 1, the soccer player’s sister went on an outing with her son to a circus in Huixquilucan along with one of her assistants. Armed criminals tried to assault her to take her purse and the keys to her vehicle. Salcedo allegedly resisted the robbery and was shot at least twice in front of her son.
