American actor Leonardo DiCaprio suffered an accident while snorkelling on the island of Sardinia, Italy.

Through the specialized media TMZ, it was revealed that the interpreter of “Titanic” traveled to this corner of the Mediterranean Sea, in the company of his current girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, with the intention of enjoying a few days.

However, thanks to a paparazzi, it was possible to confirm that the Oscar winner for “The Revenant” suffered a jellyfish sting while he was snorkelling. Faced with this situation, the actor asked the crew for help to get out of the water as soon as possible.

After the incident that DiCaprio suffered was revealed, it was also mentioned that the actor received the bite on his lower back, near his buttocks.

This also caused the actor’s team to place the artist on the yacht’s outdoor shower, while other people tried to dry the area where the jellyfish injured the actor.

According to the same media, the actions carried out, as well as the prompt reaction of the crew, meant that the American did not have to be taken to the hospital.

After this incident, the “Catch Me If You Can” singer was seen with Ceretti at a party, confirming that the actor’s accident had no major repercussions. Regarding DiCaprio’s presence in this area, the artist is currently vacationing with his girlfriend and other celebrities in this part of the Mediterranean.
