Puerto Rican Carlos Caquías became the third contestant to leave the competition ‘La Isla: Desafío Extremo’, a reality show on Telemundo this week. The reason he will not continue in Turkey is because he suffered an injury that forced him to leave the game.
On their Instagram account, Telemundo Realities shared the news a few minutes ago. “The captain of the Panthers is retiring due to injury. Thank you for giving it your all,” they wrote in the description of the photo.
The Puerto Rican expressed his gratitude in the comments for the opportunity to live this experience: “Thank you family for the support, I didn’t expect this news but I gave it my all and this is not the end of Thor, it is just the beginning. See you soon. Wait for Thor’s return, which is coming even harder.”
Several users regretted this news, as they considered that she had a lot to give in this reality show that has been affected by several departures of participants in recent days.
Some messages that were read in this regard were: “The only one worthwhile on that team, he never fought and went to compete well,” “Blessed, the only humble and respectful thing the Panthers had… What a shame that the good ones leave and the disrespectful ones stay.”
In a post on her Instagram account, she explained the details of why she had to say goodbye this Friday.
“I knew I had a lot more to give and that I could make it to the final, but life presented me with an unexpected challenge with this Achilles tendon injury,” he explained.
In addition to this, he stated: “It deeply hurts me not to be able to be 100% for my team, my family and for Puerto Rico. My heart is with each one of you and I feel like I have failed, but this is not the end. It is just the beginning of something bigger. I promise to come back stronger and with more desire than ever. Thank you for your unconditional support, Capithor is out.”
With this exit, three participants have left the game. The other two were Julia Gama and Regina Fernández.
All of this has generated a lot of reactions on social media, because these were departures that occurred for reasons other than the competition.
