Amid the impending divorce between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, new information, released by sources close to the Bronx native, has revealed a factor that would have caused the origin of the problems between the actors: the friends of the “On The Floor” interpreter did not sympathy or like the American.
According to Page Six, thanks to insiders close to the singer, the “Batman vs Superman” singer was never the “favorite” of the businesswoman’s inner circle.

Within the same report, the name of Benny Medina, the singer’s current manager who has worked with the Latin artist in various periods, was one of the most mentioned due to his antipathy towards the Oscar winner for “Argo.” According to the information, the dispute between Medina and Affleck dates back to 2000, during the failed first engagement between the stars.
The report also mentions that Ben was even a factor in Benny ending his working relationship with JLo years ago. Likewise, and after the actors resumed their relationship in 2022, it was revealed that Medina decided not to declare or mention anything about it.
What happened with Benny Medina was also said to have been replicated by one of Lopez’s closest friends, Leah Remini, who advised the “Atlas” singer to reflect on her first breakup with Affleck before getting engaged to him again.
According to the same report, the reason Remini mentioned this to Lopez was because she considered the film director to be “selfish” and someone who “was not fully committed as a couple.” This allegedly upset Jennifer, who decided not to invite Leah to her wedding.
Despite recent statements, none of the main people involved, Lopez, Affleck, Medina or Remini, have mentioned or revealed official information on the matter.
In recent days, and thanks to what has been reported by various media, the couple has already set the date on which they will officially announce their divorce: before the end of the summer of this year.
According to what has been mentioned, the actors have already started the divorce process. It was even reported that both have already signed the corresponding papers but have not delivered them because they are preparing for the aforementioned date.
