After months of speculation about her love life, British singer Adele revealed that she got engaged to her current partner, sports agent Rich Paul, during one of her recent concerts in Munich, Germany.
Thanks to a video circulating on social media, shared by one of the singer’s concert attendees, the singer of “Hello” can be seen interacting with a fan who proposed to her.
When asked, and without hesitation, the artist told him that she could not “accept his proposal” because “she is going to get married.” After this, Adele showed her engagement ring to her audience, causing a standing ovation among the attendees.
When will Adele and Rich Paul get married?
Despite the confession, the English composer did not provide any further information on the matter, such as the moment or date on which she got engaged to Rich Paul. Similarly, and logically, she did not reveal the date on which her wedding would take place.
Prior to her recent announcement, the British singer herself has mentioned in previous interviews how her relationship with the American agent began. According to Adele, they first met at a birthday party, and then went on to have their first date, which Paul described as a business meeting.
As time went by, and the relationship between the stars became more visible, rumors about a possible engagement began to grow. This became even more relevant when the singer was spotted wearing a diamond ring during the BRIT Awards in 2022.
The wide variety of rumors made Adele herself speak about the situation in an interview with Elle, mentioning that she was happy and in love and putting aside rumors of a possible engagement.
In addition to the above, the singer herself has revealed, in other interviews, that she would like to “expand” her family with two more children. Currently, the British singer is the mother of Angelo, her 11-year-old son, the fruit of her relationship with her ex-husband Simon Konecki. In the case of Rich Paul, who also has 3 children from a previous relationship, the American also revealed that he would like to be a “different father” because he raised his first children while he was starting his path in the sports agency.
After her visit to Munich, the singer will continue with her next performances in the same German city until August 31. After this series of shows, the singer will return to Las Vegas to continue her residency until November of this year.
