Mexican actor Rafael Nieves spoke about his ex Julia Gama, who suffered a serious accident on the reality show ‘La Isla: Desafío Extremo’, which forced her to leave the competition that is filmed in Turkey and broadcast on the Telemundo network.

Following this event, which has been widely discussed on social media, the artist commented on some details of the Brazilian actress’s condition.

“Accidents can happen, and unfortunately, this happened to her. Well, right now I’m giving her all the support so she can recover and I’m here with everything for her recovery.” She said this in an interview with the program ‘En Casa con Telemundo’.

He said he has been very worried about her and that is why he has offered to help her with whatever she needs.

“It’s not reconciliation because we didn’t end up fighting… the love is there, the respect is there,” he said.

Rafael Nieves also said: “Of course I have been calling him, since he got hurt I have been there by his side, always… I am always offering my support, sometimes my support is rejected, but I am there,” he said.

What happened to Julia Gama?

The model spoke on Instagram about what happened in Turkey and how she had to cancel her participation in this project.

“We were playing a balancing game, and I came to counterbalance a person who was much heavier than me and I ended up flying in this counterbalance that had to be done and it wasn’t possible, I flew from a height of three meters and fell on the ground with everything on my back. At the moment I fell, I was in such pain that I said ‘something happened’ and there you have the despair that you are not in your country, that you don’t know how they are going to treat you, even if they have the best hospitals or whatever, it is not your language, it is not Spanish, it is not English,” he said.

Fear gripped the famous woman due to the seriousness of the event: “I could have been paralyzed, something worse could have happened, I didn’t know what was going to happen, what was going to happen from then on, but as long as I was moving my legs, I said thank God for everything and that is the first lesson and I remember it better.”

This moment has been shocking in this first season of ‘La Isla: Desafío Extremo’, due to the consequences it brought to Julia Gama.
