Mexican boxer Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez is in the midst of promoting his upcoming fight against Edgar Berlanga on September 14, but that doesn’t stop him from having fun and recently explaining what his favorite insults are in English.
Although Canelo Álvarez rarely expresses himself in English, having learned the language has helped him internationalize his career and now in an interview with the YouTube channel BigBoyTV he explained which are the “bad words” that he never stops using in conversations in his daily life or for people he doesn’t like.
In the segment “Cursing with Canelo,” the boxer made it clear that he usually uses some insults in English to express himself.
“Motherf***er, son of ab***h, you fuc***g kidding me” were some of the rude things that Canelo Álvarez admitted to saying in his conversations in English.
In fact, Canelo Álvarez’s confession didn’t stop there because seconds later he was asked which of all of them was his favorite insult, and he assured that he would stick with “dumb b***h.”
The video quickly went viral due to the sincerity of the Tapatio, who against Berlanga in Las Vegas will seek the 62nd victory of his professional boxing career, being the first in which he will step into the ring without being the unified champion, losing his status as the best pound for pound when he was stripped of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title for refusing to accept the mandatory rival that the entity imposed on him.
