Singer Rosalía, known for her unique style and innovative music, was recently the subject of rumors accusing her of not maintaining adequate personal hygiene. Such speculation began to circulate after some users on social media commented on her somewhat unkempt hair.
In response to these accusations, the Spaniard shared her opinion on the large number of people who only focus on her physical appearance and not on her career in a broadcast on her Instagram account, and shared what she has done to take care of herself.
Rosalía decided to take the matter calmly and respond directly. In a post on her social media, the artist commented: “People always tell me why I have curly hair, I don’t shower. Look, I shower a lot, I don’t like being told that I’m dirty and that I don’t shower because it’s a total lie. Besides, I don’t put a lot of things in my hair because I want it to be long and curly, do you understand?” she assured.
As expected, fans of “La Motomami” applauded the artist’s statements, especially those women who have curly hair like her, since they claim that styling it is extremely difficult.
Rosalía’s response has been widely supported by her fans and colleagues, who have praised her mature attitude and ability to handle criticism with grace. The artist remains focused on her musical projects and career, proving that nothing can divert her energy from what really matters to her.
Recently, Rosalía gave her fans a sneak peek after months of not releasing new music and dared to announce her next collaboration with Korean singer Lisa, from the band Blackpink.
Through their Instagram account, and as a form of mysticism about their upcoming collaboration, the singers only mentioned at the bottom of the image the name of the song, “New Woman,” which will premiere on August 15 at 8:00 p.m. (EST) and on August 16 at 9:00 a.m. (KST).
