Belinda seems to never be free from controversy. She was recently accused by Verónica del Castillo of not paying her monthly rent in Mexico City. The woman claims that the singer left the house without paying.
Del Castillo made this statement shortly after revealing that Belinda was linked to Mexican drug trafficker Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, who is the son of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán.
Kate del Castillo’s sister made her statement in front of the cameras of several television programs from an airport. One of the programs that was present at the statement was ‘Hoy’.
First she clarified that she does not know Belinda in person, but coincidentally the pop singer lived for a while on the same street in Mexico City where her parents Eric del Castillo and Kate Trillo del Castillo live.
“He lived on the same street as my parents, I think he left without paying rent,” he said. It should be remembered that the first actor Eric del Castillo and his wife lived for many years in a large property in Pedregal, Mexico City.
Del Castillo does not clarify during which season exactly Belinda lived on the same street as her parents. In 2022, Belinda toured a large house for the cameras of the program ‘Divina Comida’, it could be the same house in Pedregal.
“Two or three people on the outside have told me that she is not a woman who fulfills her duties, and all that,” she said.
The truth is that del Castillo can provide this information because his parents were involved for a time in the administration of the street, so they were aware of everything that was happening in the neighboring houses.
She also hinted that throughout her life Belinda has been involved with men from whom she gets various benefits, including financial ones. “It seems that she does get a little money from them, right?” del Castillo told the media.
