Two minors were stabbed after a dispute inside a fast food restaurant in Manhattan, authorities reported.
The victims, ages 16 and 17, were stabbed after a confrontation with a man in his 20s inside Panda Express at 2852 Broadway, near 11th Street, shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday, officials said.
The 16-year-old was stabbed in the lower back and the 17-year-old was stabbed in the abdomen, a New York Police Department (NYPD) spokesman said.
The children, whose injuries were not life-threatening, were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital by private means, the NYPD said.
There have been no arrests so far. Officials are searching for a man in his 20s with curly hair, who was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt, black jeans and a blue mask, the New York Post reported.
The stabbing suspect fled “in an unknown direction” after the bloody attack, officials said.
The fast food restaurant is located half a mile from Columbia University.
