Just a week after solidifying her position as the Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris has reinvigorated the presidential race with massive events and record-breaking fundraising.

At a recent event in San Francisco, California, the vice president attracted 700 supporters and raised $12 million.

During the event, he urged his audience to mobilize, register to vote and not underestimate the importance of the coming days before the elections, Efe reports.

“We are going to win, but let’s not take anything for granted,” said Harris, who has just concluded a tour of key states with her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

The energy generated by her candidacy has been significant, and the vice president has received historic support from the political committee of Lulac, the oldest Hispanic organization in the United States, which for the first time in almost a century has supported a presidential candidate.

President Joe Biden also pledged to actively support Harris’ campaign. In an interview with CBS, he announced his intention to participate in campaign events in key states such as Pennsylvania.

Biden stressed that he is willing to do “whatever helps the most” to ensure a victory for Harris over former President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump, meanwhile, faces difficulties

Meanwhile, Donald Trump has faced difficulties in his campaign. His last public appearance was a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, where he proposed three dates for debates with Harris instead of the previously scheduled debate.

Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance emphasized immigration as a central issue, with Vance expressing his willingness to debate Walz and Trump insisting on Harris’s “falling” on the immigration issue.

In a recent interview, Vance advocated for the deportation of up to 1 million immigrants as a first step to address illegal immigration, a proposal Trump has also promoted.

Both Republicans continue to use immigration as a key strategy to attract voters as they face the growing popularity and support Harris is generating in her campaign.
