New York Yankees’ Juan Soto continues to make history in the Major Leagues and this Tuesday he managed to close a game with three home runs for the first time in his career, during his team’s 4-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Soto was the Yankees’ big hero by driving in all four of their runs with the trio of home runs, reaching 32 so far this season and placing himself just one home run away from tying Mel Ott (24) for the most games with multiple homers before turning 25 years old.

The powerful left-hander’s show began in the third inning when, despite an awkward batting, he sent a pitch against starter Jonathan Cannon to the opposite field.

He then repeated the formula in the fifth inning against Cannon when he hit another homer but this time between right-center field, which represented his 31st of 2024.

It seemed like his performance in the game was enough, but it was Soto himself who proved that he still had some material to show by rescuing a 95 mph fastball from Fraser Ellard that immediately brought a smile to his face before he began to walk the bases.

Additionally, he is the second player in 2024 to hit three HRs for the Yankees after rookie Ben Rice.

Soto was also able to add one more stadium to the list of parks where he still had to hit a home run, adding Guaranteed Rate Field to Angel Stadium (Angels) and Progressive Field (Guardians).

After that, the only remaining projects would be Global Life Field (Rangers) and T-Mobile Park (Mariners), which Soto will visit with the Yankees this year on September 2 and 4 and September 17 to 19, respectively.
