Dua Lipa is currently in the midst of renovating her mansion in Hampstead, London. During the process, the construction team found two unexploded bombs, and the singer had to spend money to investigate the devices.
According to the Daily Mail, investigations have concluded that the bombs were dropped in the area during World War II. It appears that the bombs never exploded.
The investigations also revealed that the area where Dua Lipa’s house is located was heavily bombed by Adolf Hitler. The bombs initially caused a lot of alarm, but the construction will be completed without any problems.
The singer must have been very frustrated by the appearance of these bombs, because the renovation of her house in London has had many obstacles since she bought the place. It should be noted that in order to obtain all the building permits she had to face the legal community for three years.
She presented her first renovation project in 2021. At that time, she stated that she wanted to add a swimming pool, a steam room, a shower, a changing room, a relaxation area and a cinema room.
Now he finally has the permits, and he even decided to do it in the most complicated way: he is digging with a pick and shovel and not with specialized machines. That means the work will not be as fast as it could be.
The bombs were obtained because part of the job is to dig to build a basement in his main mansion.
