American singer Madonna made a public reappearance in the city of Portofino, Italy, after finishing her “The Celebration Tour” in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last May.

On this occasion, and as part of the celebration of her 66th birthday, which will take place on August 16, the singer was seen, for the first time in public, with her new boyfriend, Jamaican footballer Akeem Morris, with whom she has a 37-year age difference.

In the images, which were shared by local media and witnesses who were in the area, the couple could be seen enjoying the Italian city, where they are currently staying at the Dolce & Gabbana mansion.

Who is Madonna’s new boyfriend?

Morris’ presence, logically, caused great surprise among those present and a large number of users on social networks. However, for the singer’s staunch followers this is not a surprise because the Caribbean footballer has been part of various publications of the artist since last July.

Through various posts, Madonna has made evident the relationship she maintains with Morris, whom she met in 2022 after both took part in a photo shoot for Paper magazine.

However, it was not until July of this year that Madonna surprised everyone after sharing a picture of the two on her official Instagram account. Since then, both celebrities have appeared together in various photographs and even videos on both of their social networks.

Will Madonna celebrate her birthday in Pompeii?

Following Madonna’s arrival in Italy last Monday in the city of Genoa, it was reported that the singer of “Like A Virgin” will visit the archaeological site of Pompeii in the following days. Due to this, it was also reported that the film director would be planning to rent the Grande Teatro de Pompeii, an area of great cultural and historical wealth, with the intention of celebrating her 66th birthday.

However, and in light of the variety of rumours, the same delegate of the Naples government, Michele Di Bari, revealed to the media that these reports have no basis whatsoever: “There will be no party, much less with 500 people, only the private presence of the artist is expected, but it will be a completely private visit.”

Following this statement, Italian media reported that Madonna would be thinking of traveling to the city of Capri to celebrate her birthday. However, and so far, no further information has been revealed in this regard.
