After Taylor Swift’s three scheduled performances in Vienna, Austria, were cancelled due to terrorist threats, the American singer will resume her “The Eras Tour 2024” shows under strict security in London, England.

According to British authorities, the events in the Austrian city last week, which led to the arrest of two men who were planning terrorist attacks at various shows such as Swift’s at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, will not prevent the “Shake It Off!” singer from taking the stage at the legendary Wembley Stadium on August 15.

The American will be present on August 16, 17, 19 and 20, the date on which she will end her tour of Europe.

What new measures will be implemented at Taylor Swift concerts?

Within the same message, it was revealed that all attendees will have to “pass” through a metal detector, in addition to carrying only a small bag.

Likewise, and within the established measures, attendees will be prohibited from bringing glass and metal containers, as well as laptops and umbrellas. Also, and to the sadness of the “Swifties”, the police mentioned that the congregation of people outside the stadium will not be allowed, a practice that is usually carried out at each of the singer’s shows by all the people who could not enter the respective venue.

Among other measures established, and following the previous one, it was declared that no person will be able to camp prior to the concert.

Anyone who wanders around the stadium will be removed by security services.”

Finally, it was revealed that entry to the shows will be moved forward by 15 minutes, so early entry will take place at 3:30 a.m. (local time), general admission at 4:00 a.m. (local time), with the intention that Swift will go on stage, as usual, around 7:25 a.m.

Taylor Swift faces the final leg of her tour

After her successful tour of Asia from February to March of this year, and her subsequent tour of Europe, where she visited some of the most important countries on the continent such as Italy, France, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, among others, Taylor Swift will put an end to her European shows on August 20 in London.

After a short break, the singer will resume the final part of her tour in the American continent starting on October 18 in Miami. Afterwards, Swift will visit the cities of New Orleans, Indianapolis and, finally, Toronto and Vancouver, in Canada, where she will close her tour, definitively, on December 8.
