This house could be considered a classic, since it has belonged to several Hollywood stars since its construction in 1927. Among the personalities who called this house home are Frank Sinatra’s ex-partner and actress Ava Gardner, actor and director Laurence Olivier, and comedian Stan Laurel.
The Hollywood Hills, California, property is currently available for rent for $18,500 per month. The exact years in which each star lived there are currently unknown.
In addition to the property’s connection to these deceased personalities, this property also stands out in the real estate market for having been designed by Swiss-born architect Franz Herding, who also lived in the neighboring house.
The lot of this property is located on a hill. The main house has an area of 5,839 square feet distributed in five bedrooms, six bathrooms, foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
Although this property was built in the 1920s, it is currently kept in perfect condition thanks to the maintenance and renovations that have been carried out on the place in recent years.
Inside the house, one must mention its large windows, exposed wooden beams, hardwood floors and more. On the other hand, the master bedroom has a large, aesthetically pleasing spa-like bathroom and a private terrace. Among the luxuries is a speakeasy bar with a wine cellar.
The best part of the residence is its terrace, located in a corner of the house that provides privileged views of the area. On the terrace there is a dining area, comfortable seating and enough space to share with family or friends outdoors.
