This Thursday, Netflix premiered the first part of the fourth and final season of ‘Emily in Paris’. As part of the promotion for the premiere, the series’ star Lily Collins has taken a tour of the locations where the new season was filmed.
Although this series has helped many people discover the beauty and culture of Paris through the eyes of an American, the truth is that, as in any fiction, not everything is as it seems.
One of the main locations in the series is the offices of Agence Grateau, the advertising agency where Emily works. Collins and the rest of the team confess to the specialist magazine ‘Architectual Digest’ that they spent a lot of their time on the set.
Because yes, the offices do not actually exist. It is a film set that was created by production designer Anne Seibel. What does exist in reality and can be visited on any trip to France is the facade of the office, as shots of one of the buildings on the Place de Valois are used.
In the Architectural Digest video, Collins takes care to show off little details that some may not have seen. Specifically, in the Agence Grateau meeting room, where Emily has had big ideas and where she has also gotten into tremendous trouble.
Another of the places most visited by the star of ‘Emily in Paris’ is L’Espirit de Gigi, the restaurant run by chef Gabriel, who is her neighbor and the first love she found in Paris.
This recording set is the most important space for the character played by Lucas Bravo, who was in charge of showing it in ‘Architectual Digest’.
