Maria Antonieta Collins told how she is after being operated on

Maria Antonieta Collins, the renowned Univision journalist, recently underwent surgery to address health issues that had been affecting her. After the intervention, which took place in a Miami hospital, the Mexican appeared in a video with her doctor to talk about her recovery.

Last Wednesday, Maria Antonieta explained the reason for her surgery and the condition that led her to this procedure. The next day, she reappeared in another video where, with the guidance of her doctor, she assured that she is fine and is in the process of recovery, although she must avoid physical exertion.

“In thirty years, Dr. Moisés Jacobs, a great professional and immense human being, has operated on me three times: Gallbladder, Gastric Sleeve and now Hiatal Hernia. I have the privilege of knowing him and his family, but he treats me the same as all his patients and that makes a big difference. Here I tell you more @jacksonhealth Jackson South thank you for your extraordinary staff,” was the message that accompanied the audiovisual posted on Instagram.

The doctor who treated her mentioned that, after the surgery, Marie Antoinette’s blood pressure had decreased, which is an important fact in her recovery process. In addition, the journalist confirmed that she no longer experiences reflux, a symptom that had previously affected her.

Prior to the surgery, Collins had also undergone a colonoscopy, which came back positive, adding to her peace of mind. Her health appears to be improving, and her fans are relieved and hopeful for her speedy recovery.

“Whatever helps everyone is always worth telling. Today I am undergoing surgery to correct Gastric Reflux and a Hiatal Hernia with my beloved doctor Moises Jacobs from @jacksonhealth at Jackson South Hospital. There are many of us who have this condition, but there is a solution. Always with God in mind! Amen, and later I will tell you how well it went for me,” she wrote in a video that she uploaded to her profile on the social network of the little camera.
