Months after his last publication, dated April of this year, Bad Bunny reappeared on social media with a series of mysterious images and messages that would reveal his return to music.
Through his official Instagram account, the interpreter of “Tití Me Preguntó” shared a series of photographs where it was clearly seen that he was in a natural park or ecological reserve.
Accompanied by the short but mysterious message: “monte,” the Puerto Rican singer’s post also showed images of an alleged Google search by the artist regarding the “sapo concho.” Similarly, but in another image, the artist can be seen wearing a t-shirt with the word “I Love Nature,” while in another he holds a kind of fruit while wearing another t-shirt with the legend “Puerto Rico.”
However, despite the diversity of images shared, one of them caught the attention of his followers because it shows the cover of an old edition of the media El Universal with the headline: “’I come to tell you that it is time for action,’ says Dr. Albizu Campos”, which was taken as confirmation that Bad Bunny has begun working on his next album.
Is Bad Bunny preparing his new album?
Despite the excitement generated by Bad Bunny’s post regarding his possible return to music after the completion of his “Most Wanted Tour 2024” last June, a large number of users mentioned that the latest photograph would have more to do with his involvement in Puerto Rican politics.
Over the past few months, the singer of “Monaco” has expressed his opinion regarding the political future of his country, showing his discontent with the current administration of the New Progressive Party (PNP).
Given the above, and taking into consideration his recent post featuring Dr. Albizu Campos, considered one of the most important pro-independence leaders in the political history of Puerto Rico, it has been speculated that the true objective of the Latin singer is to motivate his followers, mostly young people, to show up during the gubernatorial elections next November.
Regarding the singer’s artistic career, he mentioned, in previous interviews, his desire to delve into new genres and explore other types of musical styles. The above would have greater weight taking into consideration that Bad Bunny’s most recent album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana”, released at the end of 2023, did not have the same impact and significance as his previous album “Un Verano Sin Ti”.
