A week ago, plumber and TV star Jasos Hawes filed a complaint with the West Greenwich Police Department in Rhode Island. The complaint is directed at Jacqueline Nuñez, who owns the house on which ‘The Conjuring’ (2013) is based.

The star of the television show ‘Ghost Hunters’ alleges that the woman has been stalking him for the past few weeks. According to ‘WPRI 12’, Nuñez accuses Hawes of being part of a plan that aims to kill her.

The police report and Hawes’ interview with WPRI 12 explain that the woman has been texting the anchor. It all started when the woman allegedly noticed Hawes trespassing at the home and even shared a security video showing him leaving the property in a pickup truck.

It should be noted that this property, also known as the Old Arnold Estate, is considered a tourist spot for all horror movie fans. Last year, the property was even offered for camping.

Back to the complaint, Hawes is just trying to protect herself from potential threats that could compromise her life and that of her family. “Some of those text messages were extremely vile,” the TV star told ‘WPRI 12’.

The police report contains evidence of the messages sent by the woman, some of which are: “Someday you will be prosecuted for your defamation and numerous murder attempts against my life” and “I have been told that you know of the attempted murder against me.”

The same media outlet contacted Nuñez, but her response was that she would not speak on the subject, although she seems willing to take this case to the prosecutor’s office. It should be noted that this is not the first time that the woman has been involved in legal problems.
