Since last year, actress Tori Spelling has been in the news for her financial problems, which led her to live in poor conditions. Now, Spelling claims to have recovered and found a stable home to live in, so she has also decided to talk about the luxuries and comforts she enjoyed during her youth.
Since Spelling was forced to leave the house where she lived with her children and now ex-husband due to a mold infection, the media has placed great emphasis on the fact that the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ actress had lived surrounded by many luxuries, since her parents are Aaron Spelling and Candy Spelling.
It should be remembered that the actress and her children ended up living in a mobile home, which generated criticism for the alleged lack of help that Candy Spelling provided to her daughter during this financial crisis.
But all of this is now part of the family’s past. Spelling currently has a podcast called ‘Miss Spelling’ in which she addresses different topics, always from her personal experience and perspective. In the most recent episode, she spoke to her followers about the large house in California that she moved to when she was 17 years old.
When the actress, her mother, father and brother moved into the property, it was newly built. Her parents had bought the property five years earlier, one of its attractions being that it had once belonged to singer Bing Crosby. Despite its history, the couple decided to demolish the original house and build a new one.
Spelling told her podcast that she also got to see and walk through the original house, saying: “There were hidden passages and an underground library. If you pushed something you went into secret rooms.” The property certainly seemed like a curious child’s dream.
After demolishing that house, he began to develop a large mansion with all the luxuries imaginable for a family of Hollywood personalities. It should be noted that the property occupies a four-acre lot.
The home where Spelling spent his youth is currently on the market for $137.5 million. The property fell out of the family’s possession in 2006, the same year Aaron Spelling died.
The main house has an area of over 50,000 square feet distributed in 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, foyer, living room, great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and many other amenities.
Among the luxuries of the residence, Spelling mentions the game rooms, billiards room, gym, bar, beauty salon and more.
