Cuban actress Aylín Mujica was eliminated this week from the show La Isla: Desafío Extremo, which is filmed in Turkey and tests the physical and mental abilities of a group of celebrities, who also have to live in difficult conditions.

After leaving the reality show, the artist gave an interview to Hoy Día in which she opened her heart and told how she felt during this experience.

“I think it has been one of the hardest and most difficult experiences on a professional and personal level. Those circuits, those types of games were very challenging, but at the same time what you experienced emotionally, being disconnected from the world. I’m unpacking and I still don’t know where I am,” she said.

Aylín Mujica commented that not having her family nearby was also something that affected her a lot. “Being there was a challenge, without food because the Águilas team had to work hard to be in Playa Baja, I have lost I don’t know how many pounds, my skin has become really ugly because it really was a challenge in every sense, but it has been the hardest thing I have done in my entire career and my entire life.”

He said that he was lucky to be able to leave the program, because for a few seconds he made the tower they were building as part of the challenge collapse.

When she failed, the Cuban felt very angry because she wanted to stay on the show. “But it is God’s will,” she admitted.

The artist also cried when talking about her home and family. “It was a roller coaster of conflicts, of emotions, of saying I want to stay with my team, we are not sportsmen, we are not athletes, but we are going to give it our all on the circuit, but at the same time I wondered if my children were okay.”

She thanked Telemundo for this experience that made her be in extreme conditions and thankful for many of the things she has in her life.

Aylín Mujica’s departure was deeply felt on the reality show, as she had become very popular with the participants, especially on her team, the Águilas.
