Mexican-American boxer Ryan Garcia is in the midst of a complicated moment in his professional career due to the fact that he is serving a one-year ban from competing professionally by the authorities of New York City after having been found guilty of a double positive in the anti-doping tests carried out before the fight he starred in against Devin Haney to fight for his world title.
Despite this situation, the fighter claimed that he ruined Devin Haney’s career with the victory he recorded last April and maintained that he would do it again without any problems; he also explained that he wants to prove that he never cheated before this fight and for that reason he is completely willing to open the doors of his camp so that everyone can see the way he trains.
“I would gladly do the same thing to him twice. I can tell the truth and beat him twice,” said Ryan Garcia during an interview with Fight Hub, where he explained that he feels completely calm about the situation he is going through and maintained that he wants to prove at all costs that he has always been innocent and won without any type of doping.
The Mexican-American fighter performed this performance on April 20, when he managed to knock down Haney three times; in this fight he managed to win by majority decision after 12 rounds.
“I beat him easily and like I said, they could watch me every day, they could watch me train, they could see what supplements I take, they can do blood tests every week, every day after training, they could put a camera in my training place, they can see what my plan is, they could see all my liver hooks, they could know everything. This man will not beat me,” he concluded.
