The Mexico City Arena will host Miss Universe 2024, the organizers of the most important beauty pageant in the world announced on August 23.
Regarding this news, El Diario de Nueva York shares with you some details of this important cultural space in the Mexican capital.

The venue was inaugurated on February 25, 2012. The first performance there was with the Sun of Mexico, Luis Miguel.
Other information known about this site is that it is a 300,000 square meter building and is 45 meters high. It also has parking for 5,000 vehicles and 126 luxury suites.
Details of where Miss Universe 2024 will take place
All these features make the Mexico City Arena the ideal space to host the contest that brings together women from different countries for several days.
This Friday, the contest’s Instagram account announced details of the next edition, in which the successor to Nicaraguan Sheynnis Palacios will be chosen.
“Hello Universe! History is about to be rewritten… The moment we’ve all been waiting for is just around the corner. Are you ready to witness the most unforgettable night of your life? Live from Mexico… The 73rd Miss Universe competition. This November 14 and 16 at Arena Ciudad México. Stay tuned,” they wrote.
Cancún was initially considered the venue, but they decided to make this change in order to focus the final night of the competition on the capital.
This year, 130 candidates are expected to participate, which will be the first time that this number of women has participated.
For several days, representatives from different countries share and do different activities in which they seek to stand out among the public, but especially the jury, in order to achieve the coveted crown.
There are also various events that make them live an incredible experience. One of the important moments is the preliminary, in which they parade in swimsuits, formal and traditional, to show their attitudes on the catwalk.
