Tom Cruise heads the cast of Alejandro González Iñárritu's new film

The next film by Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu has taken one of the most important steps towards its development: the revelation of its cast, which will be led by Tom Cruise.

According to the specialized media Deadline, the two-time Oscar winner for Best Director will have, as head of the cast, the acclaimed American actor. Although the name of the “Top Gun” interpreter had already been mentioned and linked to the Latin creator, his participation has finally been made official.

In addition to the talent of Cruise, who will also take on the role of producer, the names of the two-time Oscar nominee in 2024 for the films “Anatomy Of A Fall” and “The Zone Of The Interest”, Sandra Hüller, and the recent winner of the award for Best Male Performance at the Cannes Film Festival for “Kind of Kindness”: Jesse Plemons, were revealed.

The German actress has become one of the artists with the greatest international projection thanks to her outstanding performances and her undeniable talent. Meanwhile, the American has become one of the actors with the greatest presence thanks to his participation in outstanding projects such as “The Killers of The Flower Moon” and “The Power Of The Dog”, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

In addition to Cruise, Hüller and Plemons, González Iñarritu’s new film will also feature the talents of talented actor Michael Stuhlbarg, known for his role in films and series such as “Call Me By Your Name”, “The Shape of Water”, “Dopesick”, as well as Oscar nominee for “The Sound of Metal” Riz Ahmed.

The rest of the cast is made up of iconic actor John Goodman, “The Flight,” “Argo,” and actress Sophie Wilde, who gained great notoriety in 2023 thanks to her role in the horror film “Talk To Me.”
