Mexican singer Thalía celebrated her 53rd birthday in style on August 26, with a variety of colorful and luxurious gifts that the artist herself “showed off” on her social media.
Through her official Instagram account, in her Stories section, the interpreter of “A Quien Le Importa” shared some of the many gifts she received, highlighting a surprise of balloons that her children gave her to show their love.
The actress also showed the floral arrangement that American designer Tommy Hilfiger, one of Thalía’s best-known friends, sent her.
What other gifts did Thalia receive?
Although the gift from Tommy Mottola, Thalía’s husband, was not revealed among the variety of photographs, the latter used his official Instagram account to share a series of images with the actress where he also included a message in which he revealed his great love for the Mexican.
Likewise, and within the same Stories section, the singer included a variety of images with congratulations from some of her great friends such as the Latin presenters Lili Estefan, Montserrat Olivier, Karla Díaz, among many other celebrities.
The actress herself shared a video in which she compiled some moments from her long career, as well as from her private life, where she celebrated reaching 53 years of age and thanked her friends, family and fans for their expressions of appreciation and congratulations.
Is Thalia returning to pop?
Following the release of her most recent album, “A Mucha Honra,” which was characterized by being framed within the regional Mexican genre, the Mexican singer has become the object of criticism from her own fans for adopting a musical style foreign to the one that made her one of the most important Latin performers in recent decades: pop.
The above was allegedly “heard” by the singer, who recently shared a series of images inside what appears to be a recording studio. However, and as simple as these photographs may seem, one image in particular alerted the followers of the actress, who pointed out that Thalía could be close to returning to the pop genre.
In this image you can see a painting of the legendary American musician and singer Prince, who stood out for being one of the greatest exponents of various variations of pop such as soul pop, rock pop, among others.
