“It’s not a coincidence” is the song with which Sheryl Rubio is resuming her musical career. But this return seems to have been for a good reason: the young singer and actress of Venezuelan origin is pregnant and this proposal allowed her to connect with her fans to give them the good news.

The video, which has been shared on YouTube, appears to be unshareable for now, but you can watch it here.

The actress of soap operas such as “Mi ex me tiene ganas”, “La viuda joven”, “Somos tú y yo” and “La Casa de las Flores” married Lucas Shapiro in 2020, with whom she lives in New York City. Prior to her marriage, Rubio lived for a long time in Mexico, however, love took her to new lands.

Before getting married, Sheryl worked as an actress in Mexico as well as a model and represented several brands. At that time in her life, she was also the girlfriend of Lasso, a well-known Venezuelan singer, who sang hits such as “Ojos azules” and “Un millón como tú”.

Many Sheryl Rubio fans believed at the time that this song was a song that Lasso composed inspired by her, however he has denied it on countless occasions. Explaining that when the song was composed, both he and Sheryl were still a stable couple, which is why it would not make sense for the song to be inspired by her.

Sheryl, for her part, did release a song in relation to the end of her romance with Lasso called “Terminamos.”

Now, regardless of what they were and what they are now, the truth is that both Sheryl and Lasso have moved on with their lives and maintain a healthy relationship at a distance of courtesy and respect.
