Presenter Montserrat Oliver has admitted that her marriage to Slovak model Yaya Kosikova is facing significant challenges, following more than a year of rumours about their split. In a recent interview with the Hoy programme, the presenter describes 2023 as a complicated year, especially in their marital life, mentioning that they have not lived ‘any nice stages’.

“It’s difficult. You have to work on it like you do with friendships, you have to work on love, you have to work on relationships. We’ve gone through many stages. Last year we didn’t have any nice stages, to be honest,” the Mexican said exclusively for the program ‘Hoy’.

The Mexican also mentioned that part of the situation was due to not having a fluid conversation: “Yes (there was a crisis), of course… It’s like in this new society, in this new world, where everything is disposable, you get infected a little, you endure less, so, any little thing you say: ‘should I just throw it away and next?’, but then what’s worth it is what you work on.”

Does Yolanda Andrade have anything to do with Montserrat Oliver’s problems?

Things in their relationship seem to have gotten worse, especially due to personal issues that have impacted their close circle. Emilio Morales, a well-known publicist, commented that the health crisis that Yolanda Andrade was going through had influenced the dynamic of Oliver and Kosikova.

Addressing the rumors about her relationship with Andrade, Oliver emphasized that their relationship is very close, describing it as “like sisters,” reflecting a strong emotional connection despite the difficulties she faces in her marriage. “We are like sisters, that thread (as a couple) has already been broken, it can no longer be mended, but we will be there because we love each other very much,” she mentioned.

“It is an emotional maturity and it is a loyalty, I believe that we are two very loyal people who, when I tell you, I promise you that I will take care of you or that I will be there, I will be there in good times and bad. I believe in those friendships, in those loves, in those loyalties and that is why I do not fail myself,” added the Mexican.
