Manchester City’s Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has continued his blistering start to the season with the English side after scoring three goals in a 3-1 away win over West Ham United on Saturday.
With three goals in the 10th, 30th and 83rd minutes, Haaland boosted City’s victory, which was momentarily halted by an own goal by Portuguese Rúben Dias that gave West Ham partial equality before the first 20 minutes.
Although the 1-1 scoreline shook the match at times, Manchester City dominated every action of the game from start to finish and the performance of the Android was the icing on the cake, extending their great start to the new campaign.
In the last match against newly promoted Ipswich Town, Haaland had also scored another three goals, which already placed him at the top of the Premier League scoring charts, and now he ended up extending his personal goal tally with the new trio.
As if that were not enough, Haaland had also scored in the win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, meaning he now has seven goals in three games and leads the table well above second-placed Nonso Madueke (Chelsea) with three goals.
